So, if you’re okay with working hard on your programming skills and interested in a good campus + brand name, PES EC is a strong choice.

On the other hand, if the Tier 2 college you're considering has very strong placement records for CSE, and your passion is strictly software/coding, then switching might make sense. But in general, PES EC is a better long-term option, especially if you make use of the resources and keep upskilling.
