Hello which book I should prefer for Reasoning and Maths to crack ssc chsl in short period of time.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 10th Dec, 2020

See mathematics needs a lot of practice and reasoning needs a presence of mind which gradually develops due to practice. So I would recommend you to follow Quantitative Aptitude by RS AGGARWAL as well as Reasoning book written by the same.

The contents of the book are very good which will enhance your ability of problem solving. Follow the Previous question paper book by Arihant Publisher or any publisher so that you will get familiar to the pattern.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

sir i paid money for 1st slot booking and if i book for 2nd slot did i paid money or not

Koustav Dey 9th Dec, 2020

Hello,

The fee for slot booking i.e. the registration and security fee need to be paid only once. Since, you have already paid the fee in the first round then you don't have to pay the again in the second round. After you take admission in the college, these fees will be adjusted with your college fee and if you don't take admission then most of the fee will be refunded.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!

Is it enough to take one standard reference book of each subject to crack IIT jee mains and advance .

S. Saha Student Expert 9th Dec, 2020
There are numerous books in the market for Jee Mains and Advanced. You can practice from these following books-
NCERT Textbooks of Class 11 and 12 of Physics, Chemistry and Maths. As NCERTs are written in simple Language, for basic preparation these are best. But few questions in Jee Main and Advancef are quite tricky. Mostly the numerical problems in these exams are of complex types. So you should follow some standard reference books.

For Physics, you can rely on either Concepts of Physics by HC Verma or IIT Physics by DC Pandey. But HC Verma is mostly recommended. For Mathematics, Complete mathematics for JEE Main TMH which is one of the best books for Both Jee Mains and Advanced. And for complex numericals in Chemistry, Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukherjee will be better. Or else, you can prepare Physical Chemistry by P.W. Atkins. Hi

The list of top books for chemistry for JEE examination are listed below:-

  • NCERT Textbooks - Class XI and XII :- master it as many times questions have been  directly asked from NCERT
  • Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukherjee:- best for practicing numericals in physical chemistry
  • Organic Chemistry by O P Tandon:- best for clearing all your doubts in organic chemistry
  • Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J D Lee:- Best for your inorganic chemistry.

For detailed information visit

More than the books which you follow what matters is the way you follow or study them.

Your whole chemistry is divided into three parts physical chemistry ,organic chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry

*For physical chemistry first of all go through the chapter then make a list of all the formulas and important concepts in the chapter then go through the solved numericals to understand how the concepts learnt are applied to solve them and then go for unsolved questions

*In inorganic chemistry, you basically have to memorize things, show the best thing is read the chapter from NCERT and keep revising it at regular intervals , and practice lots of MCQs to increase your memory power after each chapter

*For organic chemistry , you don't need to directly mug up reaction , you meed to first understand them, what you need to do is first go through the reaction and then go through it mechanism as well which will help you to understand how the reaction proceeds and then write two- three times the reaction and its mechanism on your own and then practice some questions on the same reaction and you need to follow this process for every reaction in organic and soon you will be good at organic.

You can prepare well for using our JEE mains program the link for the same is given below
