is there any book which provides physics all derivations from class 10 to University ?

Harish Jayaraj 3rd Dec, 2020

Hey!

the below books are used by myself and my friends.

  1. Feynman’s Lectures in Physics: This collection of intriguing and informative lectures by Richard Feynman is one of the greatest works in Physics of all time. From Mechanics to Electromagnetism; they explain even the tiniest concepts in immense detail!
  2. Fundamentals of Physics By Resnick and Halliday. A Great start for people looking forward to begin learning about this topic. It starts out with elementary concepts, but transitions into more advanced topics. Definitely a must-read.
  3. Classical Mechanics by Herbert Goldstein: This book is particularly recommended for people looking for advanced material. Even though it is slightly challenging to grasp, it is an excellent read.
  4. Concepts of Physics by H.C Verma. This book is frequently considered the Bible of Physics; Its elaborate, in-depth approach to nearly every concept and advanced problems and applications not only makes it a great choice for students during exams, but for anyone who has a passion for physics.
  5. University Physics by Young and Freedman. As the title suggests, it is mostly recommended for university students, but it explains even the hardest topics in a relatively simple manner.
  6. Quantum Mechanics by Griffiths. This 400-page book covers nearly every topic in Quantum Mechanics, all of it explained in an introductory, well-executed and effortless manner. Also Griffiths Electrodynamics book is a splendid choice.
  7. Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku. Another Interesting book which could resolve all your questions about Physics and nearly every concept in Theoretical Physics.

Dear Aspirant

CUCET is all-India test is being organized by 14 Central Universities and 4 State Universities for admission to various Integrated/ Under-Graduate, Post Graduate and Research Programmes in these Universities/Institute(s). It provides a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these Participating Universities (PU) across the country.

There is no single book which you can refer to for preparing for the exam. Everything is asked from your graduation course of study. So preparing from the books which you referred in your exam will be more than enough

best book name for bsc physics frist year in odisha

S. Saha Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020
Usually in the first year, basics of Thermal Physics, Classical mechanics, Electronics, Waves and Optics and Mathematics are involved in the syallbus. So you don't need to go for any difficult or high standard reference books. If you start with a simple one, it would be better for you. And can increase the level as you promote to the next level. Books like Modern Optics by AB Gupta, ELECTRONIC device and Circuit Theory by R Boyelstad and Nashelsky, Classical Mechanics by Goldstein, Schaum's Outline Series- McGraw Hill, Heat and Thermodynamics by Zemansky and Ditman etc.
