physics jee main preparation best book

NIDHI 27th Oct, 2020

Books                                               Authors
1. Concepts of physics for JEE H.C. Verma (Vol. I and Vol. II)
2. Fundamental-Physics Halliday, Resnick and Walker
3. IIT JEE Physics 35 years chapter-wise solved papers D.C. Pandey
4. Problems in Physics A.A. Pinsky

Although the H.C. Verma book brings a truckload of numericals with itself, from JEE point of view, it is not sufficient. The MCQs, on the other hand, are very well designed to tackle specific loopholes students have in the concepts they build after going through the chapter.

hope this is helpful

what is the best book for crack the upsc exam

pdwords Student Expert 27th Oct, 2020
Hello,

The syllabus of UPSC is humongous, hence it's important to have limited resources, read one book many times instead of many books one time, revision is the key here.

For Prelims, you can refer the following books:

History ;

NCERT Class XI and XII
India's Struggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra
For Indian Culture, refer art and culture by Nitin Singhania

Geography ;

NCERT Class VI to XII
GC Leong's Physical Geography
World Atlas

Economics ;

NCERT Class XI
Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh

International Relations & Polity ;

NCERT XII Political Science with current affairs
Indian Polity by Laxmikanth

CSAT ;

Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Agarwal
M Tyra's Quicker Maths

Coming to Mains Exam, you can refer the following books for four General Studies Paper;

GS I - For History , Class XI NCERT book with India's struggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra,India after Independence by Bipan Chandra,History of Medieval India by Satish Chandra. For Geography refer World Geography and Geography of India by Majid Hussain, GC Leong's Physical and Human Geography with NCERT Class XI book.
For GS II - Polity and International Relations , refer Indian Polity by Lamikanth,India's Foreign Policy by Rajiv Sikri
For GS III - For Economics refer Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh, read ARC report along with Economic Survey and Fiscal Budget.
For GS IV - For Ethics refer a book named Lexicon by Niraj Kumar, also you can go through study material of IGNOU.

NCERTs are your foundation here, you must have a good grasp in the basics, upsc doesn't demand you to be expert, you just need to be well aware of the basics, readings newspaper on a daily basis is must and take a print out of UPSC syllabus and keep it in your study table, go through it regularly as this will help you know what to read and what to skip.

state book enough for neet crack

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Oct, 2020
Hi

State boards books are good for your state board examination but not recommended for Neet examination.

This is because,

Neet doesn't follow state boards as State Boards have different syllabus, the syllabus of state boards varies from one state to another and each state has their own syllabus which they follow

Neet follows basically NCERT syllabus of class 11th and 12th syllabus of physics chemistry and Biology. So NCERT is recommended for Neet examination preparation

The best bookswhich you can go for neet examination are listed below Subjectwise :-

PHYSICS:-

*NCERT Physics textbooks for Class XI and XII

* Mtg NCERT at your fingertips for physics

*Objective Physics for neet By DC Pandey :-it has MCQs and numericals as per Neet examination pattern and level

CHEMISTRY:-

*NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII:- Ncert chemistry is really good for Neet,go through all the solved examples, intext questions and exercise questions

*Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon:- Best for practising and mastering numericals in physical chemistry

*MS Chauhan (Organic) :- It is a great book to clear all your concepts regarding reactions in organic,their mechanism etc

BIOLOGY

*NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII"- Master it as around 95 % questions in neet biology are based on ncert .

*NCERT at your fingertips by mtg:- best for practicing MCQs for your neet

*Trueman biology:- good for understanding topics which are difficult to understand from NCERT

Also go through Neet Previous year chapter wise book by Arihant for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and once you are done with the complete syllabus go through mock test paper.
