You have to appear in PU CET 2019 exam for take admission in PU MA.
Masters Degree in any other subject-                  
50%. The pass percentage with regard to the entrance test in English  has been increased to 35 % (30%  if the             candidate belongs to the reserved category.

The minimum percentage required to get admission in Punjab University for Bsc botany, bsc physics is a candidate must have an aggregate of 50% in class twelth and apart from merit they have there entrance exam too.

It is not entirely impossible. You can do masters degree even when your bachelors degree is in another subject until both the subjects are of same stream.
