As per my view you should complete your post graduation and prepare for competitive exams. Post graduation will open many opportunities for you incase you don't make it to competitive exam.

Hey Sheshan,
Greetings!

Most of the colleges does not consider Botany as an eligible subject to get admission in Msc. Fisheries and Aquaculture.
One should have Bachelor of Fisheries Science/ Fisheries / Zoology form a recognised University

Yes you can appear JAM for biological sciences or biotechnology. There is no such criteria that of you should have chemistry as a graduation subjcet.But the questions from chemistry physics and mathematics are asked in biotechnology paper and mathematics in biological sciences paper which are mostly basics from 10+2 level.You

You can opt for B.Sc in Botany through distance or correspondence as few universities which it offers I am mentioning below -

 

Allahabad University, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh)

Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)

Berhampur University

RVD University etc

Hi dear,

          Sorry to say you can not get admission in Jadavpur University with this rank in OBC category. Previous year closing rank in JEE mains for OBC category was less than 6500 in core branches. Try for other colleges or private institutes.
