there are other options also you can look out such as MBA as candidates from any background can pursue this course unlike MCA where there may be restrictions in terms of having studied mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or graduation level, you can go for higher studies such as MSc and followed it by appearing for CSIR NET in life science, and become lecturer or there are SETs conducted at state level for the recruitment of assistant professor, in case of teaching in school, BEd is compulsory, you can appear for CTET or state level TETs, you can also pursue LLB, it's quite a good option. there are also government exams such as UPSC, state PSCs, banking exams of clerk/po, SSC CGL, Railways to name a few.

For GATE XL Botany Tani NCERT 11 and 12 books for botany is applicable but the below mentioned books are also used for reference I am getting good score in the GATE examination for botany : guide for Life Science botany, objective botany by RPH editorial board, botany by V Verma, textbook of economic botany, plant pathology by rs Mehrotra & Ashok Aggarwal, GATE solved papers for life sciences. The books mentioned here is very much helpful to get good score in GATE XL botany examination.

To get admission into M.Sc in Botany, you must have completed B.Sc degree or any other related degree from a recognised College or University. M.Sc Botany is a two years Post Graduation degree course in Botany. Average fees is around Rs. 30,000 per annum to Rs. 1 Lakh per annum.
Admission is mostly based on merit obtained in qualifying exam and few Colleges takes admission based on entrance exams like TUEE, DUET, AUCET, BHU-PET, LPU NEST, CUCET, etc.

The universities mentioned by you are very popular and good in terms of brand name, placements and in academic perspective.
But if I were to choose between these three I would recommend you to go for delhi university because for bsc and msc courses colleges like hansraj, hindu, Miranda house, lady sree ram , Ashoka are known for these courses. But if you are getting low colleges in du then i would say to go for iit bhu or jnu.
