Botany
Hello there
No. You can't decide the combination itself. Life science is already a subject that has a combination of three subjects that are Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. You study all the three subjects together. Life science students get a broad of view of all these subjects together.
In every semester, you are introduced to an additional subject that can be evs, english or zbc (Zoology, botany, chemistry) related.
You can't choose the subjects on your own. The syllabus and subjects are already prescribed by the University itself.
Thanks
Hello,
In bsc zoology you study subjects related to zoology. Though it may differ according to universities that which topics to include and which not. Zoology is a diverse field. You study not only about animals but also topics like microbiology, Biotechnology, genetics etc. It's just that topics are not in depth. So you can study Zoology and at the same time you can also keep on exploring new subjects.

Bsc is a 3 year undergraduate course. So during first year you will have 3 subjects based on your choices. Now if your combination is botany, chemistry and zoology then you will study all the three subjects. Then in 2nd year one subject will get eliminated and the remaining two will be studied and then at last during 3rd year you will study Zoology subject only. Now if you are interested in zoology then make sure that you habe Knowledge that in zoology topics related to animals and other topics are also included.

Hello...
Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination in science with atleast 50% marks in biology and in aggregate from a reputed board of the country.
So you can obviously get admission with 81% in botany.
But some Colleges conduct entrance exam to get admission to B.sc Hons course. For this case you have to pass the test with the eligibility criteria of the colleges.
Hope this will help you.

hi,
see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. however your score is good, but at this stage it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for any particular stream. so I request you to wait for the results and it would be best if you also apply for others colleges as well apart from bhu to get the maximum possibility of admission this year.
you may follow the below link to know about the expected cutoff,
