see i ASSUME You are from para science group. since you do not have physics in curriculum, you are not eligible for many subject, which has combination of physics in curriculum  like bsc in chemistry / mathematics/ zoology/ bio chemistry etc as per the Calcutta university norms.

No. You can't decide the combination itself. Life science is already a subject that has a combination of three subjects that are Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. You study all the three subjects together. Life science students get a broad of view of all these subjects together.

Bsc is a 3 year undergraduate course. So during first year you will have 3 subjects based on your choices. Now if your combination is botany, chemistry and zoology then you will study all the three subjects. Then in 2nd year one subject will get eliminated and the remaining
