Whether you have to appear for entrance exam or not, depends on the admission criteria of that college.
In most Government colleges, you have to appear for Entrance exam and clear it.
While amission in most Private colleges, the basic criteria is 50-60% aggregate in 12th Exam.

Hello Shashwat. If you are research oriented, then there is no better place than IISC. Yes, B.pharma from ICT is great, if you are looking for a job post your course completion. But, for doing research in drugs and medicines, I would suggest you to go for BS from IISC,
