But if you choose deliberately between colleges and streams, there is chances of getting some good colleges too. Here is the list of college in which you can apply for counseling. This list is based on preference order and the first one should be locked first for the counseling. I will tell you later why is it so. So here it is :
ABES Engg. College, Ghaziabad (CS,IT preferable)
GLBITM, Gr. Noida (CS,EC,IT preferable)
ITS Engg. College, Gr. Noida (CS,EC,IT preferable)
NIET, Gr. Noida (any stream)
GNIOT, Gr. Noida (any stream)
United Engg. College, Allahabad (any stream)
IPEC, Ghaziabad (any stream)
BBDNITM, Lucknow (any stream)
RKGIT, Ghaziabad (any stream)
There could be many more but what sense does it make ending up in the college which you haven't even heard of? Right? All those mentioned colleges are in the living locality and convenience is easily available. That's some sign of relief atleast.
As I said preference order is very vital because most of the students don't enroll in the colleges they get in first counseling. So it is always advantageous to wait for second round of counseling as you will always get one from your preferred order. Let's say in the first round of counseling you are allotted NIET, then in the second round(if you opt for second round) you will always get colleges you have locked up the order above NIET.
Second thing the above five colleges have good placement record and there is discipline in the college. Atleast you will get exposure to the technical happening's around you and experience some well established lab facilities. Don't think about engineering, you will learn one from yourself and believe me four year is hell lot of time to know how to deal with the world out there. Yes, that's the engineering which you learn, not one which you get rolled in your convocation after that four years.
