i have scored 58% in boards batch 2022 and approx 300 marks jee paper 2 ( barch & bplan ) any possibilities to get selected in barch ?

Aditi Singh 23rd Jul, 2022

Hello student!

So, your score in JEE MAINS PAPER 2 For B. ARCH and B.PLANN is ~300 which is such a good score. As the official rank list is not released yet. Well the same will be released after the completion of both the sessions of JEE MAINS by the official website on NTA itself.

For now, if we follow the previous few years rank patterns, we can just predict your rank and that is not claimed to be accurate rank as it depends on how many students are appearing for exam and how much they are scoring in the paper, etc. are some of the factors affecting your rank. So, this might differ with the original rank released y NTA. Your predicted rank can lie between the range AIR 350-290.

Since this is a good rank and you can get admission in your desired institute if you meet the required cutoff requirement for that particular college.

Hope you get the idea

All the best :)

my sc category rank in bplan is 650 and I dont get any seat in mock allotment in 2 round also it means I will not get any seat in josaa I have filled all the available choice.my home state is Jammu and Kashmir even then I dont get seat in my state.

Dear student,

First of all congratulations the you have secured 650 rank in jee mains paper 2 from sc category.

Now as you didn't get any seat in mock allotment then there is no sure saying that you will get seat in josaa main round counseling or not.

Because Mock seat allocation provides a possible rough idea of colleges that they might get in josaa main round counseling as per their filled choices of college in order of their preference. Also it is on approximate basis, means - this is not 100% accurate . The final results may vary in josaa main round counselings.

Last year the josaa counseling was of 7 rounds . And as per last year 7th round cutoff closing ranks, you had a chance to get planning course in School of Planning & Architecture, Bhopal. Because the last year cutoff closing rank was - 732 (for sc candidates).
And also you had a chance planning course in MANIT bhopal, as the last year cutoff closing rank was - 730 ( for male sc candidate) and 670 ( for female sc candidate).

But this year the josaa counseling is of only 6 rounds.
So the last year cutoff closing ranks for 6th round for other state sc candidates was :-

School of architecture and planning bhopal - 670

Manit bhopal - 470

So, this year till 6th round counseling, you have negligible or no chance to get manit bhopal, but you have a chance to get b.plan in school of architecture and planning, bhopal.

But still if you not get these in josaa main round counseling, then you will definitely get b.plan in csab round counseling.

my sc category rank in bplan is 650 I have filled all the available choice even then I dont get seat in mock allotment it means that I will not get any seat in josaa counseling. I have checked Nit Bhopal cutoff previous year it is enough for my rank even dont get any seat.

Dear student,

First of all congratulations the you have secured 650 rank in jee mains paper 2 from sc category.
Now as you didn't get any seat in mock allotment doesn't means that you will not get any seat in josaa main round counseling.

Basically, Mock seat allocation is held by josaa so that the students can get a rough idea of colleges that they might get in josaa main round counseling as per their filled choices of college in order of their preference. And the mock seat allocation is purely on approximate basis. It means that this is not 100% accurate. The final results may vary in josaa main round counselings.

As per your rank, till last round you can easily get planning course in School of Planning & Architecture, Bhopal. Because the last year cutoff closing rank was - 732 (for sc candidates).
And also you can get planning course in MANIT bhopal, as the last year cutoff closing rank was - 730 ( for male sc candidate) and 670 ( for female sc candidate).
But this above data is for 7th round josaa counselling. And this year josaa will be of 6 rounds, and last year in the 6th round counseling the cutoff closing rank for manit bhopal for planning was - 470.
So, this year till 6th round counseling, you have negligible chance to get manit bhopal, as well as school of architecture and planning bhopal.

So, there is a chance that you will not get planning course in School of Planning & Architecture, Bhopal and manit bhopal this year in josaa main round counseling till last round.
