why not bpt ? bpt is a most demanding course

kumardurgesh1802 14th May, 2025

Hello there,

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is indeed a highly in-demand course, particularly for those interested in healthcare and rehabilitation fields. However, Gautam Buddha University (GBU) does not currently offer a BPT program.

Reasons for Not Offering BPT:

  1. Course Specialization : GBU focuses more on engineering, technology, and management courses. Their University School of Medical and Allied Sciences (USMAS) offers courses like B.Sc. Nursing , M.Sc. Nursing , and other allied health science programs, but BPT is not listed among the offerings.

  2. Availability of Alternatives : There are other universities and colleges in India that specialize in BPT courses, which might provide better infrastructure and focus specifically on physiotherapy education.

    Popular Institutions Offering BPT:

  • Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi

  • Manipal University, Karnataka

  • All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi

  • Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore

If you're interested in pursuing a career in physiotherapy , it would be advisable to look into universities that specialize in health sciences and medical courses .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

preeti kataria 14th Jun, 2025

With a rank of 16,003 in EAPCET and 78% in your intermediate, you stand a good chance of securing a BPT seat in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in private colleges—since many have closing ranks well above 15,000 during rounds 1 and 2

My rank is EAMCET is 6576. Will I get seat in bpt at nims hyd?

harsh singh 13th May, 2025

With a TS EAMCET rank of 6,576, securing a BPT seat at NIMS, Hyderabad is unlikely, as previous closing ranks have been lower.

Next Steps:

1. Register for counseling and choose BPT options.

2. Explore other colleges offering BPT in Telangana.

3. Consider other related healthcare courses like physiotherapy or nursing.

My rank is EAMCET is 6576. Will I get seat in bpt at nims hyd?

Hello,

An EAMCET rank of 6,576 suggests that your prospects of obtaining a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) seat at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, are improbable based on historical cutoff patterns. In 2024, BPT at NIMS generally concluded within the range of 8,000 to 12,000 rank. Although you are eligible within this range, the lower end of the cutoff (nearest to 8,000) usually fills up first, resulting in a competitive admission process.

Hope this helps. All the best!

My rank is EAMCET is 6576. Will I get seat in bpt at nims hyd?

Akansha Sharma 12th May, 2025

With an EAMCET rank of 6576, getting a seat in the BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course at NIMS Hyderabad is quite difficult. NIMS usually has a very high cutoff for BPT, and seats are limited, with strong competition every year. In previous years, only candidates with ranks below 2000 had a good chance, even in reserved categories. However, you should still attend the counselling process, as cutoffs may vary slightly. Also, consider applying to other good colleges offering BPT.
