Both the courses have their own importance in their respective place. Its your decision to find what is your interest and in which field you want to proceed further. A graduate in pharmacy deals with medicines and research whereas in bpt you'll deal with patients having muscular dysfunction.

Candidate should have passed 10+2 (12th standard) or equivalent examination with science stream i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 45% marks

Yes there is a common entrance test for bpt in pgi Chandigarh. Any student with a minimum of 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry and biology in 10+2 is eligible to write the exam. Also, student should definitely be 17 years or above.
