Br Ambedkar state institute of medical science

Yaseera Bhombal 10th Dec, 2021

Hi,

The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS Mohali) is the Punjab State Government's fourth medical college, and it is being built under the federally funded "Establishment of new medical schools by upgrading district/referral hospitals" scheme. The National Medical Commission (NMC), the institute's regulating authority, has yet to issue a letter of permission for the academic year 2021-2022.

The institution,  is built in the buildings of a civil hospital and the Punjab Health System Corporation (PHSC). The college will be expanded to Jujhar Nagar, about 2 kilometres from its current location.

In September 2021, the National Medical Commission (NMC) issued a letter of intent for 100 MBBS seats at Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences to begin the academic year 2021-22.

This year, the college will welcome its inaugural class.

Hope that answers your question

which college is best among br Ambedkar, shyam lal and deshbandhu for history honours?

Abhishek Roy 2nd Oct, 2021

I would advise you to prefer Deshbandhu College over the Others as far as History Honours is concerned. With strong faculty, lesser politics and excellent study groups of students preparing for Competitive Examinations like UPSC CSE, Deshbandhu College has it all.

i was completed msc maths in br ambedkar open university. i am eligible for gate mathematics in iits?

Akshita Dhiman 11th Aug, 2021
Hello aspirant,

As you have completed your Msc you are eligible to apply for GATE. It doesnt matter if you completed the same from a open university. You can apply for GATE Paper code MA. I am guessing you are willing to apply for Mtech.

As you will be applying for IIT's you should check with the authorities the eligibility criteria for a open university candidate. GATE score is anyway valid, so please check the criteria and apply accordingly. The same is the case with when you are applying for PSU's.

Dear aspirant,

I would recommend you to ask your seniors about your university papers because your semester question won't be available in any website as per my view. So I would like to tell that it is better if you contact your college regarding this.

my neet score is 544 all India rank 53100 get admission in Bangalore medical colleges -> vydehi, BR Ambedkar, kempegowda, sapathgiri, which Chance ??

Anurag Khanna 15th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

So on such marks and category you have good chances of getting all of the mentioned medical colleges in Karnataka with government seats under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore
  • Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore
  • Vydehi Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Bangalore
  • Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

As infrastructure of br ambedkar is now good so i wanna ask that which is the best college under du now for bcom hons as according to placements and all things -bhim rao ambedkar or shyam lal college..

shravyamdsce 1st Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

Especially for b.Com, Shyam Lal College is much better than Dr. B.R. Ambedkar college.

Both the college are good in Placements and Teaching faculty but Shyam Lal is one notch better than BR Ambedkar college. In the terms of infrastructure and environment, Shyam Lal college is much better than BR Ambedkar college.
