Hello,
A bridge course is needed to impart the basic knowledge to the students, so that they get a clear idea of the course they are going to pursue. If you want to bursue B.Tech Biotechnology, the requirements are Physics, Chemistry, Math in class 12.
if you haven't pursued this course in class 12, you need a bridge course. if you have, then you don't need it.
Hope it helps
Good luck
MBBS (Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine) is the medical undergraduate course.
This course helps you to become doctor in modern medicine .
BAMS ( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is an integrated degree designed to teach students the systems of the traditional Indian system of Ayurveda.
Requirements are moreover the same.
You have to complete your 10+2 with PCB with aggregate of 50% .
For all the courses you are required to appear in NEET extrance exam.
But for both the counselling process is different that is MBBS and BDS counselling is done by mcc and AYUSH courses counselling are done by AYUSH ministry.
Bridge course allows Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) doctors to practice allopathy to a certain extent at Health and Wellness Centers.

Hello Adraadhi
Yes you can do MBBS after BAMS but then again you will have to give NEET and crack that to get into MBBS colleges and then study for 5.5 years before you get a degree so that will waste a lot of your time it's better that you keep you focus and goal on MBBS right after 12th so you will end up saving a lot of your time.
hope this helps you
hello adraadhi
There is no bridge course to do MBBS after BDS for now the only way is to give NEET and start from 1st year as a MBBS student . The education council is currently working on a scheme where BDS students can do MBBS and complete it on 3 years no possible dates have been announced yet so it might take a while.
Hope it helps you
