Hello Vaibhav,
In case of opportunities in both of the Govt and private sector, I would like to take the side of ECE. If you want to walk with the trend of current market of our country, then you must choose ECE.
Other than this point ,mechanical engineering is an evergreen engineering field. This field has very good prospectus in the Govt and as well as in the private giant construction sector.
With the ECE branch and good grades under your belt, you are available for the government exams like
With Electronics
With Communication
A lot of Scope in the field of communication with the IT industry
Just enhance the skills levels with
As an electronics engineer you can indulge into both your core field and as well as in the software field if you want.
Major software MNCs have requirements of engineers of ECE background also.
So now choice is yours. Without hesitation make out a decision of your own!
I am student of ECE I have lot of knowledge about my branch.
I hope it helps you.
Hello aspirant
Since you have already completed the BS IISER course , you will be able to complete the project work within one year and graduate with MS . If you will freshly apply for m tech , it will take two more years. It will not also be so beneficial.
You can apply for an external final project while still being a student of IISER.
still if you want to do m tech from IIT there are exit options after fourth year but you should complete since it is BS- MS integrated.
hi,
see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on various factors ,for example students category, seat matrix, choice of stream, domicile etc. based on your score your probable rank would be around 90700 - 107850. at this rank you have less chances in nits, iiits, or cftis.
however you may use careers360 college predictor tool to know about the probable college name , which would help you in counselling for college selection,

Hi,
If your aim is to get a seat in Medical science than you should focus only on NEET exam.
Kvpy exam is conducted for selecting the candidates to fellow who are persuing undergraduate and post graduation courses in baisc sciences.
You can apply to kvpy exam only if you get enrolled yourself in basic science courses.
As you have not got admission in any B.Sc or B.S course you will not be eligibile to apply kvpy exam.
As you mentioned you want to focus on NEET exam. So prepare your best for the exam. If such a condition arises that you didn't get a medical seat than if you want you can get admission in basic science course and in that year apply for kvpy.
Note kvpy is a fellowship exam. Those candidate who wish to make career in basic sciences can give this exam to get the monthly fellowship. If you want to make your career in basic sciences go for it. If not focus on your main goal.
Hope this helps.
