Hello aspirant,

Exact rank cannot be precisely predicted. Your KCET score is 88 marks so your expected rank will be in range of 4001-4500. Although it is expected rank, actual rank may differ from it.

For further details regarding marks vs rank go through following link;

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-marks-vs-rank

The allocation for agriculture was closed around 1000-1200 rank in 1st round. So, you have a tough chance to get a seat for B.Sc. agriculture in 1st round, you can try on further rounds.
The allocation of seats depends on cutoff and it depends on various factors like;

  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Marking scheme
  • Number of candidates appeared
  • Number of available seats
  • Seat reservation of various categories
  • Previous year cutoff ranks/marks

Hope this helps!!

Which one is better: Doing Bse Biology and then Msc OR Integrated Msc Biology ?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 26th Aug, 2021

Both the courses are great. If you are doing Integrated Msc biology then you need not have to worry about entrances in order to get admission to MSc course after your BSc. Now while choosing the integrated MSc course you should be sure that the college you are taking admission is good and have proper infrastructure and curriculum which can help you in future. Now if you see that you are getting MSc in a average college/university then I would recommend you not to go for else its better for you to go for BSc from any college and then try for MSc in a very good college. As MSc is a research oriented course, you should select a college with proper infrastructure. Thus if you get a good college for Integrated MSc then only go for it else its better to go for BSc course.

how much ranking should I get to get free seat to the bse agriculture

Shalini Parimal 21st Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

There is no such course as BSE agriculture. There is a course named BSc agriculture. Since you have not mentioned the name of the entrance exam or college for which you want the ranking criteria, so it's a bit difficult to predict anything related as such. However the basic eligibility criteria for pursuing BSc Agriculture is that the candidates are required to complete their 12th or equivalent education from a recognized educational institution in the country and they are required to study Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics and Biology in Class 11 and Class 12.Also they must have at least 55% aggregate in their class 12. This eligibility criteria may sometime change depending on institution.

You can also refer the link below to know more about the BSc agriculture course,

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!

i got 101 in kcet i have agri cota , Hyderabad Karnataka and rural can i get a seat in bse agri

Akanksha 6th Sep, 2021
Hello Aspirant

Congratulations for your KCET marks. As you have scored 101 marks in KCET 2021, you can expect a rank around 2800 - 4000. Usually the seats for BSc Agriculture gets filled around 2000 in top colleges in first round of councelling. For other colleges, the cutoff is around 5000 till final round of councelling. As you have Karnataka- Hyderabad quota as well as rural reservation, you have good chances to get admission in BSc Agriculture.
