Hi Nisha, as per standard board and BSEB rules and regulations, there are a total 5 subjects and one complimentary subject which could be either language or elective subject. So if that's Sanskrit you're comfortable with as an additional subject, you could go for this as an easy and efficient subject.

Yes, the marks of this additional subject is also contributing towards your clearing of the class you're in.

Yes , You can give your class 12 BSEB boards exam next year (2023) if you can not give your exam this year (2022) due to any reason from the same school or any other school but you will have to repeat your class 12 again from starting and you will be studying with your Junior also it will be clearly shown on your passing certificate that you took a drop year which might get you in some trouble in your job interview but since your reason in genuine you can easily tackle this.

On the brighter side you will have one full year for preparation and if you want to give any competitive exam like JEE, NEET etc you can prepare for it better now.
