I HAVE SCORED 407 IN NEET-2020. I BELONG TO TAMILNADU. WILL I GET BSMS ( SIDDHA) IN GOVT. COLLEGE ?

Heena GJ 26th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant

BSMS is bachelor of Siddha medicine and surgery

The college is government siddha medical college

Cut off 2019 of this college category wise:

UR: 50th percentile and score 701-134

ST/SC/OBC: 45th percentile and score 133-107

UR-PH: 40th percentile and score 133-120

The qualfying score in 2018 was

UR: 119

ST/SC/OBC: 96

So by observing the above data, you have  chance of getting seat.

However this is as per previous year's data, cut off varies every year depending upon no of seats available, last year's trends, difficulty level of exam so it may change this year.

i got 138 marks at neet 2020 at tamilnadu . did i have any chance to join bhms or bsms .

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Oct, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, the General Qualifying cut offs for 2020 have been as follows:

General Category/EWS: 720-147

OBC: 146-113

SC: 146-113

ST: 146-113

General Category/EWS-PWD: 146-129

With a score of 138, it is difficult for a seat in any course that conducts admission based on NEET score. But if you have decided about studying Medicine, you have to reappear for NEET in 2021 and score real good. That will be the only option because with this score, you cannot even get Private Medical Colleges. So you may have to consider appearing for NEET 2021. If you want to reappear for NEET 2021, you can prepare with the help of our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/

i have scored 124 in neet 2020 and i am obc category from tamil nadu.there are any chance to get admission in private bnys, bsms, bams

nishant sharma 26th Sep, 2020

Hello student ,

If we consider previous year cut off  then it would be tough to say that you get seat even in private institute because to get admission in any medical college you should at least little more then cut off . And as you have scored very less marks then you will get only low grade college even it would be tough to say that you may get college because this on the basis of previous year cut off and as you know cutt off changes every year due to various factors like increase or decrease in number of students , toughness level of the exam and many more . So wait for the result or do work hard for the next year and till then you can use our college tool predictor which will help you to know your chances according to your expected marks .

can i join bds this year 2020 and attend neet2021 and join mbbs next year(2021)?is there any rule that if i join bds or bsms this year(2020),i cannot attemd neet2021 and join mbbs next year?what are the problems i may face? pls answer my friends

Anchal Nayak 21st Sep, 2020

Hello

By joining BDS in 2020 ,you can assure your seat. You may attempt NEET in 2021, if got selected for MBBS in government college you can join MBBS in 2021. But in this process you are going to waste a lot of money, 1st in BDS and then in MBBS. If you are comfortable try joining a coaching institute for one year for NEET and join a government medical college in 2021.
