Hello. I am a BCOM professional accounting graduate. I would like to know whether a person from my field can pursue MBA in business analyst?
The following is the eligibility criteria for MBA business analytics :
To be eligible to pursue MBA Business Analytics the students must complete the following conditions-
completed Bachelors with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST category) from a recognised university.
So your degree is perfectly suitable for this MBA degree provided you satisfy the percentage criteria.
Hope it helps!
how to became data scientist or business analyst after b.sc mathematics and computing
Students from any background can become a data scientist whether its Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Economics or Arts but you must be very prompt in analytical skills.
So you have BSc in Mathematics, you must have exposure to Lagrange’s and Fourier Transform. You might have worked on Digital Signal Processing also. These mathematical theorems are used in Data Science frequently. When you have to design a Neural Network or a Deep Learning Algorithm based model, data scientists use transformation. You can start by learning R Language and Rstudio IDE. So, you are at advantage choosing BSc mathematics and computing. Just couple your skills with programming.
You can next go for a MSc and then Ph.D in Computer Science (or an specialization course). The specialization (or Ph.D) will give you support to expand your programmer’s side and can help you to develop a platform to offer your analysis easier to your clients. But if you just want the BSc, you can go for Stats and take online classes (Coursera, edX, udemy and DataCamp offers a lot of them) to improve your programming skills.
Wish you all the best !
Hello sir, I did bcom(H), 2016-19 batch this year i planned to do mba so i take the admission in ibs pune but sir due to all this corona situation, i no longer wanted to do mba. Rather i am thinking to do business analyst course. Can u guide me what should i do?
see there is post graduate diploma and mba course in business analytics. however you have to decide which course you want to do. pgdm course is of 1-2 years depends on the institute. mba course in data analytics is of 2 years duration. admission is based on entrance exams score like cat, xat, mat, cmat etc. now you may quit the current course and again prepare for competitive exam. some of the best college for mba in business analytics is,

which among data analyst or business analyst to choose if Im a mechanical Graduate with zero coding skills and no interest in coding?
Hey Dear, if you are a mechanical graduate than you should definitely choose being a business analyst as you will learn the proper organization of a business model or its integration with technology, which would make you understand the real sense of cash flow in a business. Whereas being a data analyst without coding knowledge would be a waste of time and you will be able to concentrate only on a particular data everyday and you won't learn something new.
what is Bsc in IT (data science)? How its different from Bsc data science? BSc in IT (data science) vs BSc data science?
BSc Data Science is a 3 year full-time course that comes under the domains of Computer Science, Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
Data Science is an interdisciplinary subject that includes the use of Statistics , Big Data Analytics , Machine Learning and related aspects in order to understand the problem or phenomena with respect to a set of real-world data.
This course is highly popular among students in India and Abroad because of its increasingly high demand and diverse future scope in tech companies, consultancies, market research companies and energy sector.
Admission to this course usually takes place on the basis of merit and performance in the university level Common Entrance Tests. The minimum eligibility required is the completion of Class 12 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
IT is a particular subject with data science.
What is the difference between Bsc data science and BSc IT (data science) in terms of curriculum? Which is more useful?
So you can have a rough idea about the two courses but which one is better is something only you can decide as you will know better which subject interests you more.
which is better to choose between BSc in IT (data science) from MAKAUT and BSc in Data science from TIU? Which is more useful curriculum for future industry?
Hello Apu sarkar, Both the Universities are best for bsc and infastructure is also good but facilities are more in TIU like sports campus, wifi campus, and many more and they all are not in MAKAUT and placement is also good at TIU. So I personally preferred you to go for TIU.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
which is better between MAKAUT in house and NSHM kolkata for non-engeenering courses?
Both are equal when compared with ratings...You can choose the one which suits you better in financial side, educational qualification, availability of transport etc..So,Kindly refer the links I provided here for further clarifications.
Hope this finds helpful...ALL THE BEST!!!
I did MBA in marketing but I am not from technical background. Can I persue my career on IT business analyst job?
Private companies do not care about your certificate but only your skills if you think you can acquire coding skills which I guess will be required for handling IT field then ofcourse you can. There is no official data for these from any company mostly it depends on your eagerness and performance in the company which lead you to your dream post.
