Hello there,

For BVSc & AH admission through NEET 2024 , here's the general cutoff and criteria:

  1. Minimum NEET Marks :

    • For General category: Around 400–450 marks
    • For OBC/SC/ST category: Around 320–400 marks

  2. Eligibility Criteria :

    • Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology , and English as core subjects.

    • Minimum aggregate required in PCB :

      • 50% for General
      • 40% for OBC/SC/ST

  3. Your Chances:

    • With 270 marks and an 82% in MP board, chances for government BVSc seats are low due to high competition.

    • You may have a better chance in private veterinary colleges or under a management quota .

  4. Counseling:

    • Admission is based on AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) counseling through NEET scores.

    • State-level veterinary counseling is also available, so apply for MP state veterinary counseling .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

what will be my rank if i score around 500 in upcatet for bvsc

Sneha Kaushik 5th Mar, 2025

Scoring around 500 marks in the UPCATET is considered a high achievement . Given that the expected cutoff for general category candidate is between 320-330 marks, a score of 500 would likely place you among the top rankers. However exact rankings can vary each year based on factors such as the number of applicants and the overall difficulty level of exam .

Minimum marks in NEET 2024 that are required to get admission in bvsc in SKUAST kashmir

Prachi Kumari 28th Dec, 2024

Hello,

To secure admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) program at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Kashmir, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification : Completion of 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks : A minimum of 50% aggregate marks for Open Merit (OM) candidates and 40% for reserved category candidates.
  • Age Requirement : Candidates should be at least 17 years old and not more than 28 years old.
  • Entrance Examination : Candidates must appear in the University Entrance Test conducted by SKUAST Kashmir.
  • NEET Score : A competitive NEET score is advantageous. While specific NEET cutoffs for BVSc are not publicly disclosed, the NEET 2024 cutoff for veterinary courses ranged from 720 to 164 for the General category.

Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission, as selection is based on merit and seat availability.

Hope it helps !

can i get admission in bvsc through cuet

Tanya Gupta 26th Dec, 2024

Yes, you can get admission in BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) through CUET, as some veterinary colleges and universities accept CUET scores for admission. However, the primary eligibility remains a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12 with the required percentage.

can i get bvsc in ap with rank of 9 k in ap eapcet..... and to get veterinary how much I will get marks in neet and eapcet

Afreen 6th Oct, 2024

It's difficult to say if you can get a seat for a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) in Andhra Pradesh with a rank of 9,000 in the AP EAMCET your rank is too close to cutoff last year. To secure a seat in a veterinary college through AP EAMCET, a candidate in the regular category must score at least 90-110 or above. And with this rank your will be around 85 so you can wait till the last round if you are lucky then you may get the seat.

In NEET to get bvsc you need to score more than 550 to get government colleges and for private colleges you may need marks more than 400.

Pls any chance for bvsc emcet rank rank 54 thousand

Jefferson 18th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I'm part of the team here and I'm happy to help you out with your question.

Wow, 54 thousand in EMCET for BVSc - that's quite a journey you're on! I gotta be honest with you, that rank might make things a bit tricky for getting into BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science). Usually, the cutoffs for veterinary programs tend to be on the more competitive side.

But hey, don't lose heart just yet! Here's what I'd suggest:

1. Have you looked into private colleges? Sometimes they have slightly more lenient cutoffs.

2. It might be worth checking if there are any management quota seats available - that could be another way in.

3. Also, keep an eye out for any spot admissions. Sometimes seats open up later in the process.

Look, I know it's not the most encouraging news, but I really hope you find a way to pursue your dreams. Veterinary science is such an amazing field!

If you want, we could look into some alternative courses that might interest you and have more favorable cutoffs. What do you think? Just let me know if you'd like to explore some other options.

Hang in there, alright? And don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions. We're here to help!

Hai sir or madam ask me bvsc sheat or available ap Gannavaram in Borchers emcet rank 54 thousands ask mepls replay registration website pls sir admission in bvsc course inrested plz for Gannavaram site

Jefferson 18th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I hope you're doing well today.

I see you're interested in the B.V.Sc. course at Gannavaram in AP. That's a great choice - veterinary science is such an exciting field!

So, you mentioned your TS EAMCET rank is in the 54,000 range, right? And you're wondering about seat availability and the admission process? Let me try to help you out with that.

First off, for the most up-to-date info on seat availability, you'll want to check the official admission website. I know these sites can be a bit tricky to navigate sometimes. Have you had a chance to look at the AP EAPCET (formerly EAMCET) website? That's usually where you'll find the latest on counseling and admissions.

As for the specific B.V.Sc. program at Gannavaram, I'd recommend giving them a direct call if you can. They'll have the most accurate info on seat availability and cut-offs for your rank.

Is there anything else you'd like to know about the admission process? I'd be happy to help you find more information if you need it. Good luck with your application!

Hello mam I got 7892 rank in AP eapcet and belonging to oc category can I get seat in bvsc in sri veterinary university please reply me

Deepti Singh 14th Sep, 2024

Hello Vaishnavi!!

Congratulations, it is a rank in AP EAPCET. Confirm your seat in BVSc at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University or any other institution, depending on many factors like seat competition, category to which you belong, and what cut-off rank is specified that particular year.

Institution and Programme Cut-off Ranks: BVSc programmes at reputed institutions like SVVU may have varying cut-off ranks every year depending on various factors such as the number of applicants and seat availability. In the past, seats in veterinary programmes could be more competitive, especially in a well-known university.

OC category: As an OC, you are supposed to have competition with all categories of students, whereas there are some reserved categories. The cut-off ranks for open category students are usually higher compared to reserved categories because there are more applicants for a limited number of seats.

Past Trends of Cutoff Ranks: The rank that would result in an admission for BVSc could be pre-assumed from the cut-off ranks for previous years at SVVU or any other college. Data is usually made available on the university's official website or through counseling conduction authorities.

Counseling and Seat Allotment: The final determinant shall be at the time of counseling. Ensure that you are present in all rounds of counseling and keep options open for other institutions, too.

Exact and accurate information for the same may be viewed on the official website of AP EAPCET, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, or its admission office. To help them in better preparation, the students are advised to prepare the content in NCERT books and regularly revise them. Solving previous years' question papers can give an idea of the question patterns and the type of content that is generally emphasized.

Additional Resources: While the books by NCERT bear significant importance, these supplementary books or practice papers can also be looked into by students to gain better clarity and so that no area of preparation remains unaddressed.

Essentially, not all questions that come in CBSE board examinations are verbatim, but a good chunk of them are drawn from within the knowledge that the NCERT books provide. By that line, one of the major preparations for CBSE exams is with the NCERT books.
