how long is ca course after 12

Hello Manav nanani,

The duration of CA course after 12th is 4.5 years through CPT Route and after Graduation  through Direct Entry Scheme duration is 3 years  which was decided by the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) .

Shruthi, your articleship is not counted as work experience. This is because you completed your articleship as a part of mandatory experience as per the ICAI guidelines and this doesn't add as your professional experience. Even IIMs do not consider articleship as work experience while shortlisting for CAT admissions.

Sourabh, Articleship in CA Intermediate is not considered as work experience because that is a mandatory part of studying CA. So, for now we have to exclude CA qualification because you need to complete CA if you want to show CA as your educational qualification. And CA final year Candidates
