Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has changed the exam dates for the CA Foundation 2023 December session. The CA Foundation December 2023 exam will be held on December 31, 2023, and January 2,4,6, 2024, according to the updated CA Foundation timetable. Registration for the December 2023 session of the ICAI CA Foundation is currently closed. The CA Foundation June 2023 results had already been made public by the institute on August 7, 2023. A new education and training programme has also been announced by ICAI, and it will go into effect on July 1st, 2023.

For CA Foundation exams, if you choose the Hindi medium, the question paper will be in Hindi, except for Section (b) of Paper 2, which is exclusively in English. The exam allows a choice between English and Hindi.

Hope you are doing well.

Students after registration to the course are required to complete a minimum of 4 months study period from the date of registration in order to be eligible to appear in the Foundation Examination.

Therefore, the last date for CA Foundation registration is: 1st July 2022 for appearing in Nov 2022 Examination .

As the registration date is already over, you cannot apply for the CA exam which will be held in November 2022.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has OPENED the registration for CA Foundation 2022 November session in online mode. ICAI allows the candidates to register through their official website at icai.org. The last date for CA Foundation November/December 2022 exam is July 1. The last date was 1st July so now you will not be able to fill out the form. As the last date is passed there is no way to fill out the application form now.  There are no age limit restrictions for candidates for registering in the CA Foundation exam. so you can try next year again.

The first level exam for chartered accountancy in India is called the CPT, or common proficiency test. You only need to finish two years of higher education, including any diploma courses taken after the tenth grade from a board recognised by the federal or state governments, to be qualified for the CPT exam. If you are in your first year of an online graduating course or have previously received your diploma, you are also eligible.

A board recognised by the government is called the Bihar Board of Open Schooling Examination (BBOSE). Therefore, the CPT examination will be available to all BBOSE students.

For being eligible for the direct entry route in CA i.e for giving CA Intermediate exam directly without apppearing for the CA foundation exam you need to atleast complete your graduation. Since you have just completed your second semester exam you are not eligible for the direct entry route as you have not completed your graduation. Hence, you must prepare for your CA foundation exam first . Only when you clear CA foundation you will be eligibe for appearing for your CA intermediate exam.
