i belong to maratha (SEBC) caste, so in CAT exam form which category should i choose?

anirudha vats 12th Sep, 2020

Hey

The SEBC  is a state level reservation provided to students and is not applicable for Central Reservations. But centrally I think you will fall under OBC category as both the categories are linked. For mare clarification you can contact the CAT helpline numbers or else kindly contact your city local body issuing the reservation certificate and get it clear from them whether they issue different OBC certificate applicable for central reservation or the SEBC certificate is the only OBC CERTIFICATE.

For your reference I have attached the link of the official website of CAT below,

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

I am army ward and belong to Uttrakhand state. I got 516 marks in neet 2019 and UR category. Will I get the benefit of army quota in UK

Supriya Omi 2nd Jun, 2019

Hi,

Firstly, 516 is a good score and you may get a college. There is a chance but still we can't say anything with 100% authority because we don't know what will the cut off of different colleges. If your score would have been above 550, then we could've that you will definitely  get a college but still don't lose heart. It's a nice score and you have worked hard. Hope for the best.

Secondly, there is no defence quota in Neet. You have to score high marks and get good rank in order to get a good government  college.

Good luck!
