sir i passed my CBSE 12th board in 2014 7 yrs ago . there is a spelling error in my fathers name in the 12 th certificate . but his name is correct in my passport , 10th certification and in my digree certificate ...is there any way i can corrct the spelling mistake in 12th certificate

Yes, you can correct the details in the class 12th certificate by visiting the respective college adminstration office from which you have passed out class 12th and enquire the procedure to correct your father's name in class 12th certificate. You may have to fill the application and provide proof

See class 12th marksheet does not includes your category so it does not matter what category you have chosen for your class 12th but what matters is what category you will be choosing while filling application form for DU, as you have mentioned that you want to apply
