If you want to join computer studies amd technology as a course in your higher Studies, in class 11th, while choosing your subjects, you must choose science stream with PCM/B and computer science or IT as your subjects ombinations. hi Im peehu agrawal and Im in Xth class i want to do acting classes from 11th class and Im from cbse board can u please tell me some schools where i can take admission for acting before 12th and sidly i can do my 11th and 12th

Saunkita Mallick 31st Aug, 2020

Hey, hope you are doing well!

Firstly, please complete your schooling first. Because acting schools give intensive training and for pretty long hours. It becomes very difficult to cope up with both the things at the same time.

Secondly, some colleges even have post graduate courses only like FTII. In these days the basic qualification for any course is your 10+2.

So, please complete your schooling first.

Till then you can join your school dramatics club, learn online and prepare for various roles, work on dancing and fitness, make videos on your acting skills and post them on your social media accounts. You will gain confidence through that.

You can join theatre groups, acting workshops, etc.

Still as you asked for, these are some top acting schools in India-

  • Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune
  • Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai
  • National School of Drama, New Delhi
  • Institute of Creative Excellence, Mumbai
  • Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares, Mumbai
  • Asian Academy of Film and Career (Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi)
  • Whistling Woods International, Mumbai
  • Zee Institute of Media Arts, Mumbai
  • Delhi Film Institute, Mumbai
  • Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema and Entertainment

All the best!

I score 126.5 marks in NATA and 78% in CBSE board examination. Shall I get any govt. college? How to apply RV college of Architecture, Bangalore?

JAYA KARTHIKA RS 21st Sep, 2020

Hello,

Your merit mark will be:

126.5/4+78/2=70.6

It is very difficult to get a Government college based on your score. Because it needs more than 150 Nata score

You may into some decent colleges but it is difficult to get into colleges based on your choice

I think it may be easy if you are other than general category because based on the previous cutoffs most of the colleges cutoff for SC/ ST and other than general are around 60 merit marks. But cutoffs change every year.

Aditya kumar singh 20th Sep, 2020
Hi,
Congratulations for your percentage , see with this percentage it will be very difficult to get a good college in north campus as cutoffs are generally higher but as very few people apply for bsc in nursing there is a chance to get admission in colleges in south campus .
Hope it helps thank you

Dear Student,

You can not take seven subjects in CBSE Class 12.

Here I am giving you one example and that can clear doubt. If you are going for Science stream, then English, Physics and Chemistry are the compulsory Subjects for every Science Stream students. After these you can take two optional subjects like mathematics/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Hindi. It may be different from various schools.

I have passe my 12 th with PCM from cbse board . So now can i give nios exam only in Bio and transfer the marks of physics and chemistry? Will I be eligible to gine NEET exam and will all the medical colleges accept this marks?

Sarthak Sharma 17th Sep, 2020

Hi there !!!

Yes you can give NIOS exam for Biology and use P+C+B marks to be eligible for NEET . In NEET NIOS marks are accepted it has already been confirmed again by NTA. Just make sure your aggregate of PCB in 10+2 will be

  • 50% for General
  • 45% for PWD
  • 40% for OBC,SC, ST

And you do have minimum age of 17 years at the end of year (for eg. this year's NEET eligibility you should be of 17 years on or before 31st December 2020)

You can check here all the details of eligibility for NEET here :
