Where should I take admission Zakir hussain delhi college evening or Amity Kolkata for BA ENGLISH HONOURS. I got 92 percent in CBSE class 12 board exam. I live in Durgapur West Bengal.

piyush singh 17th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant ,

There is no single answer to this question as one college is better for BA English (Hons) i.e Zakir  hussain Delhi college  but it is 1000+ Kilometer away from your home where other college is good but close to your house .

If you want better education , classmates , faculty etc you should choose Zakir  hussain Celhi college , also this college is under Delhi University which gives extra value to your degree  , but if you want to study close to your home then you should go for Amity Kolkata .

I would advice going for Zakir Hussain .

Hope this helps.

Please provide me the details about CBSE class 12 board exam which will be taken in form of two semesters for session 2021-22 ?

Sonal Nimbriya 17th Jul, 2021

Hello there !

Hope you are doing fine.

CBSE has come up with a new Assesment plan and has planned to implement it from July. The required details are followings:

1) CBSE academic session 2021-22 has been divided into two terms : Term 1 and Term 2.

2) Term 1 -

It will be the assessment based on 50% CBSE  syllabus.

This will be having MCQ including both case-based and assertion- reasoning type.

Answers will be marked on OMR sheets.

Duration - 90 minutes

The paper will be conducted in schools but in the presence of external examiner.

3) Term 2-

This will be Subjective type. It may have questions of different formats(case based/open ended/ short answer / long answers type).

Duration - 2 hours

This paper will be conducted in examination centres.

One important thing is that if the situation will not improve, then Term 2 will also be 90 minutes MCQ or objective type.

4) Don't worry! Sample papers for Term 1 & 2 along with question bank and other resources will be provided by the board itself.

Keep studying and stay safe.

All the best!

why people are asking to cancel CBSE class 12 board exam ? when there was no problem in conducting election campaign then whats the problem in conducting board exams ? dont you think it will be unfair to many students if exam will be cancelled or held online ?

Shubham Dhane 14th May, 2021

Hello,

As you know that there is a surge in COVID-19 cases there are many who are afraid which is why there are many who are asking to cancel CBSE 10+2 level exams. Due to the election campaign many were effected with corona virus and there was a huge surge. It might be unfair for may students if exams are conducted online or cancelled but it is better than loosing live. As it is many have lost their lives to this corona virus and the officials have no interest in risking students lives.

im having compartmnt for 1 subject last year on cbse class 12 board exam 2020. This year im registered as private candidated having compartment. if cbse cancells class 12 board exam 2021..my compartmnt will also be cancelled or not

Anurag Khanna 9th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See if you have to appear for class 12th compartment examination the let me tell you that schedule for compartment exams is declared separately and it has nothing to do with the main examination schedule of class 12th so even if class 12th board examinations would be cancelled by CBSE then also compartment exams can be conducted and in the case the situation due to COVID-19 does not comes under control then some alternative can chosen by CBSE but as of now we can only wait for any announcements from either CBSE or other responsible authorities. For class 12th board exams new datesheet is expected in the first week of July 2021. So right now this it is not possible to predict whether the examinations of class 12th or compartment will get cancelled or not.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Shreya Singh Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020

Hello student,

As of this year, the IITs have dropped the 12th board criteria. So you don't have to worry about the JEE. Just focus on the exam and prepare well for it. The cutoff will decide whether you can get a seat or not. The seat also depends on which branch you opt for. As different branches has different cutoff marks in each college.
