If i have passed class 12 With PCB 2021 and have maths cbse certificate 12 as private candidate of another year 2023 ,then can i give WB JEE exam

Ishita 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can definitely give the WB JEE exam if you have passed Class 12 with PCB in 2021 and have a separate CBSE certificate for Maths from 2023 as a private candidate.

The eligibility criteria for WB JEE typically require candidates to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Having a separate CBSE certificate for Maths fulfills this requirement.

I did my 12th from CBSE. I had 6 subjects in my class 12th exam. How should I calculate the percent. Should I include the 6th subject or not. I am filling the form of competitive exam.

Hello aspirant,

Basically, the total marks scored in the exam and the total marks for which the exam was given are used to compute the percentage of marks.

As you have studied 6 subjects in your class 12th, your percentage will be calculated on the basis of your score in 5 subjects. But in those 5 subjects you must include your main subject along with English.

Thank you

Hope it helps you
