Hi Abhishek,

A pass ceritficate issued by any educational board certifies that the candidate has cleared all subjects scoring passing marks and is eligible to take up degree courses in other institutions. Since you have it you should proceed with completing the application.

It is not clearly mentioned about which application form you are asking about.IISc has opened application form for various courses such as BS Application, M.tech, M.Des and CPDM.If you can please tell us the course r application you are applying for we may help you accordingly.

I applied for all 5 subjects in CBSE improvement exam 2020. If I give only maths exam and be absent in rest of the subjects, what will be written in the final physical marksheet that I will receive? Will the previous marks get carried over and get printed or will it be marked absent?

If you only give your maths examination and remain absent in rest of the subjects then your previous(Orignal Board examination marks) would be carried on for further admission into colleges.

But you'll have to keep your improvement paper certificate/Marksheet along with you for your maths examination, as you'll

i am born in rajasthan and studied upto 9 th in rajasthan with cbse board and 10 and 12th from gujarat with cbse board. please clarify my eligiblity in rajasthan as well as gujarat

The domicile rule is different for different states.

In the case of Gujarat :

  • Candidates must have been born in Gujarat  and have cleared class 10 and 12 from the state.


  • Candidates born outside Gujarat should have completed class 10 and 12 from the state and should have been living

see I dont think you will face much problem for syllabus since syllabus is quite same for state board and cbse, since cbse syllabus is followed for all entrance level exam students of cbse gets benefits.
