To get admission in St. Xavier's, Kolkata in B.com (//B.com) a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with atleast 60% marks and must have scored atleast 45% marks in atleast 4 subjects including English and Pure maths/Business mathematics/Statistics  and pass all the subjects as per respective board

what will be the cutoff of cbse for iiser through scb channel for general ews student

Hello Snehal,

IISER offers admission in three channels - KVPY, SCB, JEE. Cut off marks for IISER admission 2019 for CBSE through SCB channel is 431 for general/EWS candidates.

For SCB channel the candidates will have to qualify the aptitude test and then they will be called for counselling based

I failed in Maths in CBSE board exams in 2019. I am giving my compartment exam again this time. But the new criteria states 80 marks for paper and 20 for practicals. but since I have never given any practicals, what will happen to the 20 marks. Will I have to get 33 from 80 to pass the exam???

The criteria of 80% theory and 20% practical marks is for those subjects which have practical portions in them. Maths usually has no practical at school level. So, you will get a 100 marks question paper to solve in the exam. Thus, you need to get 33% out

Generally you don't have this topic explained in detail in NCERT physics class 12th. It is not included in the syllabus. But, you do have questions from this topic in NCERT exempler class 12th. So, why to take risk. Practice some questions and just know the general trend
