After your boards result, you have to apply for counselling which is conducted by TNEA application in specific engineering colleges. The range between 195 to 200 is required for general category. To answer your question, it is not clear yet if Mbose will set question paper pattern as the CBSE board does. It was said that Mbose will be following the syllabus of CBSE but I couldn't find anywhere the same being said for the examination pattern. But it is possible
