Eligibility for DTU and NSIT Delhi is 60% aggregate marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Class. If you appear for CBSE Improvement Exam, then best marks from either of the marksheet will be considered for calculating eligibility.

I guess they just are required for the eligibility criteria. Otherwise on the basis of these marks nobody gives you a job in govt sector.
