My nephew absents from class 12 CBSE practical examinations in Political Science and English due to medical reasons. If he will pass in theory examinations of these subjects what will be the final result ? Whether he will have to appear again in practicals only or in both theory and practicals ?

Hey Uday,

According to CBSE, the appearing students must pass individually in their theory and practical exam. If a student fails either of those exams, he/she will be considered failed for the subject.

Dear aspirant,

Yes, you can repeat 11th and 12th standard in a different stream. But you have to change your education board as it is not allowed to do so in the same board.

To repeat, you just have to apply for the +2 standard by using your 10th standard

No, writing there entrance exam is needed. They will give you addmission on the basis of two factors- firstly on the basis of your board marks & secondly on the basis of the marks obtained in their entrance exam. Good luck!

Chances are less because the cut off for North campus goes really high.But Do not loose hope and wait until the last cut off list gets released. Try applying for more universities so that you have a backup in case DU gets out of league , which in your case

If you are in 11th class you can change your stream even after registration, you can talk to your principal, write an application letter for changing stream with your parents sign on it and submit it to your school administration, as 11th class is independent of 12th class,

If you are from General Category, you should score 60% and above in Maths/Biology, Chemistry and Physics in your 12th or equivalent examination. If you are from SC/ST, you should score 50%. It is compulsory to score minimum 60% in all subjects. You are not eligible if you scored 50%
