8000 rank can get a seatin cdac

Guljabin Quadri 7th Feb, 2021

Hello,

According to your link it quite difficult to get a seat in CDAC. With such rank you would not get admission in good center as well as good course so finally even after CDAC. Well, now coming straight to the facts , good CDAC center cutoff closes at around 1500-2000 rank. Below are some projected ranks for various CDAC institutes. Rank for PG-DESD is 1-300. Rank for PG-DAC is 700-1600 .

Is there placement after the course. Can you give details of the placements that have happened. Do you place people in CDAC itself or other companies

iammohdshareef 28th Dec, 2020

Placements depends on the College you go. If the College offers placement then you need not worry about job . But if the college doesn't offer any placement guarantee then you must search by yourself for a job. If you score good rank then you need not worry. You can get a job .

Now coming to college, you didn't mentioned any kind of college and course here. So it's not possible to let you know the exact information about placements.

Do comment down the college name or post a new question. We will help you out as soon as we reach you.

I want to ask you that I have done my bsc graduation this year and I want to give the entrance exam of cdac for practice because I want to know that what type of questions asked in a exam so please tell me sir can I apply for the exam or not?

pkp.inutail 18th Dec, 2020

Greetings,

as per the eligibility criteria you would not be able to appear for the exam so the best thing to do is solve sample papers for the same as the official exam papers are also not released by the governing authorities. You can find many sample papers on google, that may be the best bet as of now.

Good luck

Am a 2015 passed out mechanical engineer and thinking of joining cdac.Is it okay to join now ? Also which course should I prefer ?

U. Janani 30th Oct, 2020

Hello Akshay!

In CDAC courses, every module focuses on software. One must have a sound knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C, SQL, Data Structures, etc,. Graduates of CSC/IT branch will mostly opt for it.

Since you are a Mechanical graduate, if you are well versed in programming languages then you can definitely go ahead with CDAC. Or else you can also study programming and give it a shot!

Just remember that you have to crack CCAT! DAC course might be suitable, kindly check out. Learn C, C++, Data Structures, Operating Systems, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Hope you get placed!
