I come under OEC category and it is showing that the fees to be paid at CEE is NIL for keam . So will I be considered for the next allotment or do I have to do anything more ??

Shrishty sahu 30th Oct, 2020

Dear student,

If you are from other eligible categories (OEC) in KEAM you don't have to do anything after the first allotment inorder to wait for the next allotment. But if you have to confirm the first allotment , you have to delete all your higher priority options. Also you don't have to go to any college after the first allotment inorder to get admission. You just have to pay the allotment fees only, which in the case of OEC candidates is NIL.

do we get the money back if we do not wanted to enter any college after 2nd allotment?is it needed to pay fees again to cee after 2nd allotment to enter 3rd allotment for keam?

Shrishty sahu 30th Oct, 2020

Dear student,

If you fo not choose any college or accept any seat then automatically you are shifted to the next round. You would not have to pay any extra fees to cee for 3rd round. Also the fees paid in counselling is non refundable, so whether you accept a seat or not the counselling fees will not be refunded to you.

I paid the 10,000 rupees to cee for keam. But i wish to go abroad. So will i get back my money or not?

crremyaprasad 10th Oct, 2020
Hlw student,
Sure it will be refunded after all allotements,
But I will advise you to contact the keam help line to know more about this because these regulations may vary, keam help line number is 0471- 2332120, 2338487. And 0471- 2332120, 2338487 never lost your chance to get an engineering admission in government colleges by thinking that you will get admission for medical or other courses. only left engineering seat when it becomes
100% sure you will definitely get medical or any other admission , otherwise it's became a mistake if you are interested in engineering also. So take decisions wisely,
All the best for your Future
Hope this will help
Thank you

Seriously speaking in this rank there is very slight chances according to previous year opening and closing ranks for CSE in Guwahati University. And I just want you to say that don't lose your hope, stick to the counselling till last round maybe your faith is waiting at last round of counselling.

i have got 48 marks in cee and my rank is 4000.I am from STH category. can i get seats in cee

Samarth Laghate 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations for getting good marks in AASAM CEE. According to last some years cut offs sorry to but you have very very less chances of getting admission into any government colleges such as AEC or JEC for any of the engineering branch.

I would like to suggest you to go through the below link in which last year cut offs for AASAM CEE are which will clear your all doubts regarding cut offs.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/assam-cee-cutoff

Generally the cut offs for this colleges are more than 100 marks but for ST category it would be lesser than that but not less than 60 so you have very less chances but you should try for some private colleges definitely.

Best of luck.
