Hello Student

General rules for validity of caste certificate is the candidate should be of domicile in the same state for caste  certificate and domicile certificate. As you have caste certificate from Bihar and have domicile certificate from the state of  Maharashtra so the caste certificate from  Bihar will not valid in the state of Bihar as you are domicile of the state of Maharashtra.

Vivek vishal 4th Dec, 2021

hiii ,

yes a commettee has been setup by the government to review the criteria of ews and , its is likely to reduce the minimum family income criteria ( which now is 8LPA ) the to less than 8LPA , and may also increase some benifits .

The central government has set up a committee to find out what the EWS is all about please explain.....

Deepak Raja S 4th Dec, 2021

The Central government set up committee to again re check the eligibility criteria for General EWS quota. Because for those people belongs to general category if their parents annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum, the can utilise the EWS reservation. As same as for those people belongs to OBC, if their parents annual income is less than 8 lakh pr annum, they will come under Non-Creamy Layer. These NC-OBC people can utilize OBC reservations.

But for both cases, its fully depend on the annual income. There is no difference between General and OBC people.

So the newly formed committee will check that can we keep this 8 lakh eligibility for both communities or should we need to modify kind of they will report.

Hope you got it.

I am applying for csss scholarship given by central government.i am going to nit Durgapur,i am eligible for fee waiver. Will get fee waiver if i got scholarship.

piyush singh 10th Dec, 2021

No , You wont be getting Fee waiver by college if you get CSSS (Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students),you can get only either Fee waiver by college or CSSS scholarship as one of the eligibility condition includes that a student should not be availing benefits of any other scholarship scheme such as state run scholarship schemes/fee waiver and reimbursement scheme.

So choose wisely which gives you maximum benefit and make sure to contact your college administration.

Hope this helps.

I am applying for csss scholarship given by central government.i am going to nit Durgapur,i am eligible for fee waiver. Will get fee waiver if i got scholarship.

ayanmukherjee045 28th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Let me tell you if you are applying for the csss scholarship then you are not applicable for the fee waiver through the income certificate on the basis of annual family income. So, apply it accordingly because the remission through family income is huge as compared to the scholarship but for more information you should contact the college administration.

my obc ncl certificate doesnt have "for admission under central government thing" rest everything is same... will there be any problem during counselling.. I have original one like just "obc certificate" on the top will it work in josaa

nilangemeghna 15th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant ,

If you want to get admission in a outside state from your caste or category, you will need a central ncl certificate. If you do not have..... you will be considered into the general category.....

If you get a seat in the home state through JoSAA counselling, you will not need a central NCL ( non-creamy layer) certificate....

Hope this helps
