Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad
Hi,
In case you're an IIT Aspirant and have faith in yourself that you can do it then you should definitely go for the drop year and not consider it a waste in any means, however if you're considering drop, I would recommend you to do some degree from a local college for that period of time as it will not affect your application in any other college later. However, if you have any doubt regarding IIT then don't worry,CBIT is a very good choice and definitely worth it. They have wonderful and mind blowing placements every year and if you have the required skills to crack it, you can bag highest placements as well. Every year Microsoft comes with placements starting from 40 LPA.
I hope this helps,
All the best
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that it is very difficult to predict precisely the minimum rank and percentile score that is required to get IT branch in any NIT or an IIT as the cutoff rank changes every year and is different in different colleges for different category students.
The cutoff trends depends on various factors like : Difficulty level of the paper, previous year cutoff trends, students appeared in the exam etc.
However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends and to be on the safer side, the minimum rank and that is required to get IT branch in JEE mains is around 10k-20k in good colleges. Similarly, The minimum percentile score that'll get you IT branch in good NITs must be around 96-99 percentile.
You can check the preparation tips and strategies for scoring good scores and percentilein JEE mains by following the link below :

Fees for Computer Science Engineering course in India is Rs. 2 Lakh to 6 Lakh for 4 years.
Computer Science Engineering is a course that deals with design, implementation and management of information systems of both hardware and software processes. Career options are software developer, computer systems engineer, web developer, hardware engineer.
Hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other queries. All The Best!!!
Mahendra University is a better college than CBIT and VASAVI. Though the fees is very high but it is also totally worth it. The infrastructure is the best infrastructure when compared to the other two and also a lot of other colleges. The food is average but once you get used to it, it will taste better. The faculty are excellent at teaching and are all Ph.D. holders. They use PPP slides for teaching which helps in understanding the subject better. They also conduct lab tests which is for better learning and doubt clearing. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Overall, it is an amazing college. The only con is the fees which it quite high and their limited selection of students.
All the best.
According to official website of cbit you cannot get admission there on the basis of icar score as it accepts admission on basis eamcet rank and talking about nit warangal so it is an institute of national importance and is under the central government of india and admission to it on btech level are strictly done through josaa counselling on the bass of jee main rank once you get a valid jee rank you can sit in josaa counselling and then on the basis of your rank and preference order you get a seat allotted if any in nit warangal
Hi.
When the JOSAA online document verification commences, it will be provided in the instruction the recommended type of file that has to be uploaded along with the size constraints (if any) Usually a pdf format is asked for but that should not be an issue and jpeg can be converted to pdfs and vice-versa
