Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is a private engineering college located in Gandipet, near Financial District, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The college is affiliated to Osmania University and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation . The institute received an autonomous status in 2013.

With a total of 12 blocks in the campus, eight blocks are assigned to ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, Mechanical, Mechanical (Production), Civil, Chemical, Bio-Tech, MBA, and MCA departments. Four blocks are for the library, R&D, physical education department (sports), cafeteria, and assembly halls. Workshop sheds and laboratories are found between the blocks.

Academic :

UG students are admitted through the statewide EAMCET examination conducted for intermediate students and TS ECET conducted for Diploma students.

PG students through GATE and ICET, which are conducted every year. Apart from EAMCET, GATE, and ICET exams, students are also admitted through B-Category (selection based on IITJEE, AIEEE, EAMCET ranks) and NRI quota.

Placement records:

Total No of Students Placed from 2000 onwards 15284 in leading MNCs, Microsoft, Google, JPMC, Oracle, Amazon, Deloitte, ITC, HUL, HIL, MRF, Dr.Reddy’s, Aurobindo, Hetero, CTS, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Sirpur Paper Mills & Orient Cement.

It's a well-reputed college in Hyderabad, and the education provided is fairly good. Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the highest was 40 LPA, and the average was around 15 LPA.

Of course CBIT and SRM are one of most famous colleges for academics. I more like to suggest you to go in SRM because there will be lot of scope and outstanding future. In CBIT also you'll have wide range of oppurtunities. But precisely I would like to suggest you SRM If you want to go for ECE you can opt CBIT . ECE has also has best career opportunities in future. Hello Aspirant! To get admission in CBIT Hyderabad, you need to qualify TS EAMCET and not JEE Mains. It takes admission on the basis of TS EAMCET results only. Candidates with a valid TS EAMCET score can apply for the admissions.70% seats are filled by covenor quota and the rest 30% are filled through management quota. Since you've not appeared in EAMCET, you can take admission in engineering course through management quota in CBIT.
