there’s not much difference in both the universities. But i would say cgc is quite better than ptu jalandhar. It is a more popular college. Also it is located in Chandigarh so you will get more opportunities but the location is not very good as it is located around 20kms far away from Chandigarh. Also ptu is a government college whereas cgc is private so fee is slightly more. So decide accordingly.

All the deserving students gets placed. Placement record is quite good of CGC. Around 400-500 companies visit the college for placements. This year, a student was offered 31 LPA. In ECE branch, the highest placement package a student can get is 18 LPA. Many companies such as Amazon, Google, HCL, IBM, etc., visit CGC to offer jobs.

One of the best things in Chandigarh Engineering College is its infrastructure. The campus is full of green trees and colorful flowers, which give students feel fresh all the time. There are different blocks on the campus, which are allotted for different courses.

the college is also been rated 5 out of 5 by the students who have been there while cgc has 4.2 out of 5 rating.

Both colleges of approved by AICTE but SRMCEM is also accrediated by NBA national board of accrediation.

Coming to your question, I would like to tell you that Chandigarh University is best when compared to cgc landran , as it has good infrastructure and placements scenario when compared with the cgc landran and especially if you are going for the cse branch.
