According to me both of them are best options for Btech in CSE branch but considering the studies and placement i think CU will be a better one.You will definitely gain knowledge and if you are hardworking then you will get placed in some top companies.

Considering the placements in other colleges in Punjab under Punjab technical university, CGC Landran stands out. CGC Landran has the best placement record.

But the placements offers are mostly from IT companies and the package is generally around 3.25 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs.

Some core companies also visit the campus but intake is low which means the mechanical guys have less opportunity to be placed in their core industry.

But for IT, CSE and ECE there are sufficient opportunity to get placed in an IT industry.

Hey Saurav, you can apply either on the basis of your jee mains percentile or 10+2 percentage. It depends on through which you can easily get admission. 

I would prefer you should apply through jee mains paper as at 53.4 percentile you can easily get admission in Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran Campus, Chandigarh.

the placements are good as compared to other colleges in punjab. Most of the recruiters are IT companies and they provide the package of around  3-4 lakhs per annum. Also the intake is low and the mechanical students do not have much opportunities. The infrastructure of the college is good. Companies like amazon, dell, TCS visit the campus for recruitment.

If you are looking for admission in this college then my suggestion is don't waste your Money and time, find other good college.The main reason for the poor placement.

The other problem you will face there is 75% attendance i.e  must. Not just for the entire semester. After every 15 days, attendance is evaluated. If it isn't 75%, you have to face a lot.

So, I suggest you to go for a good college instead of going there.

NIFT,Delhi and other NIFTs in India

If you are looking for a college in Punjab then CGC ( Chandigarh group of colleges) which is in Jhanjeri, Punjab is a good college it also provides Bsc in fashion technology courses. Placements from this college are fine and their packages are also okay. Yearly fees of this college is around 1.45 lakkhs. NIIFT ( Northern India Institute for Fashion Technology ) will be a better choice for a college in ounjab for doing fashion technology..

For overall India, NIFT Delhi would be a preferable college as its was ranked 17th in the world. For getting into NIFT you will need to clear its entrance  exam.

It is very difficult task to compare any two colleges because each has its own  merits and demerits. Like  the faulty of GBU is poor but it's infrastructure is good , it has  also Good placement track.But in my point of  view CGC Chandigarh is good.

When we talk about placement for IT branch in CGC Chandigarh we found that they much better in comparision to ECE branch. As a large no. of companies visit campus for IT  branch student wheras only 5-6 companies visit there for placement of ECE students.

So, I would suggest you to go for IT  not for ECE  as the safe career option in CGC  chandigarh.

but yes Chandigarh Group of college is known for Computer science engineering.

also in this college top companies come with  package like 24 lakh.

its rating is 4.1 out of 5.

so definately it is very Good college.

Fee for CSE is 3.48 Lakhs.

total seets is 540.
