You have asked for the shift between the different locations of College in CGC.

I want to tell you that it is not possible according to me, because all the Colleges have provision for shifting between the courses or branches but not between college location.

If you have scored well in your first semester exam, then you can surely opt for different branch or stream of subject but you can't change your college campus from Jhanjeri to Landran.

Many Colleges have different provisions but till now I have not heard about such case, in which location can be changed.

This might not be a good news for you, but still Give Your best in the College exams and Try to communicate with your college administration also regarding it.

There seems to be only few TIME institutes near Chandigarh Group of Colleges. One is T.I.M.E Institute in SCO 221, West Market Road near MCM Girls College, Sector 36-D, Chandigarh, 160036 . This center is within the distance of 12.2 km from the college,with a travel time of 24 mins approx. And the other one is T.I.M.E Center in SC0-20,2ndFloor, Model Town Extension Market, near Shri Krishna Mandir Trust, Ludhiana, Punjab 141001 with a travel time of approx. 1 hour . Another one is TIME Ambala, in SCF 7 First Floor, VIKAS VIHAR,, Ambala City, near Domino's Pizza, Ambala, Haryana 134003 with a travel time of again 1 hour approx. Hence , only the first one is very near or in the vicinity of the college you have mentioned and the other two are a bit far.

B com hons is best at CGC Landran  , chandigarh. It is best college in north region. B com hons is three years undergraduate course. CGC Landran ensures inculcation of business, commerce and finance in each inspiring individual.  It offers specialization in the fields of banking and insurance, accounts. 1. Infrastructure - In infrastructure, Chandigarh University wins. No doubt it has a quite wonderful infrastructure as their are students from different countries. CGC Landren infrastructure is not that good comparable to CU.
2. College Life- It's the most important thing for everyone because that what everyone wants a perfect college life. CU has a edge over CGC in this again as a lot of events take place in CU. There are a lot of places for roaming and eating in CU also.
3. Placement- That's what literally su***, at the time of placement students of cgc and CU sit together. So, the company won't give you an advantage if you are a student at CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY.
4. Fees- If you take hostel then Fees for CU is 10Lakhs while of CGC is 6.4 Lakhs but CU offers a lot of scholarship programs. E.g. if you have 90%+ in Boards then your semester fee will be reduced to 50%.
5. Facilities - It's common better facilities cost more, so, CU offers good facilities to it's students.

CGC, Mohali is a good college to pursue B.Tech in CSE. But, CGC Landran is not that much better for CSE branch. If we talk of B.Tech ECE at PU Patiala, then I would say its a decent college to study ECE as the faculty of ECE department there is very good. Average Package is also 3-4 lakh per year.

But in CGC, you will get great infrastructure and various big tech giants also visit this college as it has the name of "Chandigarh Group of Colleges". Average Pacakge is around 6-7 Lakhs per year.

Compared to both the colleges punjabi university and Chandigarh group of colleges which is in lardan in punjab punjabi university is having high ratings 3 out of 5 and has good reviews and electronic and communication department is best and have good placements and have average salary of 7 lac per year and in Cgc means Chandigarh group of colleges have 2.85 rating out of 5 so better to prefer punjabi university electronic and communication department  and you will have good placements so study well and work hard and all the best for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.
