There is no Drawback of Getting degree from anywhere, because based on your degree you will earn a job in industries. Though Chandigarh University is new, Just a 6 Years Old, But in such short time period, CU has become a prime choice of almost all industries. Placements is just awesome here. Current year highest package is 31.7 lacs per annum and last year highest package was 26 lacs per annum. So i didn't found any drawback here.

Chanigarh university infrastructure is quite good and well maintained . I would like aware you that after bsc , plan for masters because job opportunities are less in bsc except bsc in cse .

Well the placement scenario depends on the course!

But in general the placements in chandigarh university is very good and many reputed companies  visit .Also it has the incredible placement records among its competitors in north india .

The highest salary package offered is 36 lakh and the Average between 3.5 to 6 lakh

It also has a job fair each year for all the students .

With more than 757 multi nationals visiting CU campus in 2021 -22 ,the number of offers have touched 7412 and the highest package has registered a growth of 30%

As of 2020 , 7412 students got placed

And also this year 2021 - 22

For engineering course the highest salary package was 36LPA

MBA was 26LPA

Hotel management was 12LPA

So it has the best placement  !

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

Chandigarh University is indeed a great university. The average salary package offered in CU for the CSE branch is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA in 2021, which was provided to 4 students. However, in other streams placements are not much good. In terms of internships, academically average students do not get internships, but if you are a hard-working student, you will definitely get placement because top-notch companies visit CU. The passing percentage in class is around 95%-96%, but if you don't have 75% attendance, you are not allowed to write the exam.

There is nothing as a disadvantage if you perform well throughout your engineering years. Hope this helps!

BTECH CSE is a more job oriented course compared to that of BSc Computer Science. If you are wiling to go for BSc Computer Science then you should do a MSc in order to get a good job but if you don't want to go for MSc program and want a job via placement just after your graduation then BTech CSE will be a great course for you. The CSE and CS both are similar to theoretics but in CSE you will learn more of practical skills which are required in industrial sectors.

So choose your trade as per your ambition.

Coming to your question, Campus Placements for B. Tech CSE in Chandigarh University is pretty good. Some of the leading Multinational Companies that come to the campus are Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L & T Technologies, Dell , Samsung, Bosh, IBM, SAP LABS, Deloitte, Mindtree, Flipkart, Capgemini and Wipro.

The highest package offered is around 35 LPA while the average package is  around 7 LPA.

The truth is the both don't have any match as both are different streams also one is Government and other is private. Since both are different fields also differ in occupation too. But B.Tech with CU have upper hand over B.Sc from DU due to high placements in CU in this CSE field.

The number of companies visiting the campus is huge and tech giants like Microsoft, Google and Amazon also take part in the drive.
