Chandigarh University is somewhat better for MSc Zoology.LPU is good only for Engineering and not for plain degrees.Chandigarh University has detailed course structures and almost all the faculties there are quite helpful and professional.The placements are provided mostly by IT companies but also by educationalist and geographic companies like NAT GEO,SGEORGE and also by various telegraphic channel.The average placement salary is about 3-4 LPA and the infrastructure of the college is also good.

You are under CU. Means Calcutta University student. Your subject is Science stream which is good. Now you want to apply prelim then it will be may any government examination UPSC or WBSC examination. But you didn't mention it above it's okay.

At first you need to download the syllabus of your examination. Then you have to prepare the basic mathematics and Aptitude. Which is most important. You have to focus on your English and english grammar. Then you have to study political science, sociology, history etc other subjects. And you have to aware of current affairs which are very important. You have to practice daily it will help you out in examination.

The Chandigarh University charges bus transportation fee from their students only in case the students residing out hostel premises avail their bus services on a regular basis.

The bus transportation fee is not fixed for all categories, the distance as well as the time duration for which the student has been using the services. But, on a general basis it's around 10000 to 15000 on a yearly basis.

Chandigarh University offers all the required facilities such as digital classrooms, canteens, cafes, sports ground, library, auditorium etc. Faculty members are also very skilled and are always ready to help students in any sense. The placement rcord of CSE is also good (as per the reviews, 70% placement record).  Many MNCs like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Wipro, Deloitte, etc., visit CU to hire students and give good salary packages. The highest salary package offered till now is 35 LPA.

PU Chandigarh offers MBA in retail management.It is NAAC 'A' graded college.The duration of the course is of 2 hours.The infrastructure of department and the faculty members are very good. Campus is attractive.Many companies come for placements like HDFC, Mahindra finance, Videocon etc.
