Coming to your query, i think Ramaiah institute of technology is better than chandigarh university for mechanical engineering. As, the placements are better there. Also, it is ranked much above chandigarh university. Although CHD university has a better infrastructure and a 200 acres campus, but placements are better at MSRIT. Chandigarh University is not offering Instrumentation Engineering course in UG or PG . Please check once i provide link official college website . Coming to university review Chandigarh university is good university and having good Facilities , Infrastructure , Labs, Placements e.t.c. Highest package Offered is 32 LPA .Good MNC and companies visit campus drives NIRF ranking / rating for engineering is 84th .

Chandigarh university have a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained.
