Yes you are definitely elligible for CA CPT examination. But being from science stream background you have to put an extra effort to clear the examination, as you are not through with the basics. At CPT level, you need to know the fundamental concepts of Accounting, law, economics

The basis qualification required for CPT is 12th. It doesn't matter from which stream/course you qualified you 10th +2 examination.

It totally depends on you which type of graduation you prefer.
If you choose regular program then you have to manage your time for both the courses. If you can manage your time you can go for regular course it will hold advantage if by chance you leave
