We do have metallurgy engineering so it can be considered as a chore subject. Also metallurgy is considered as a sub stream of mechanical engineering.
But the difference between metallurgy engineering and mechanical engineering is as follows.

I am sorry to inform you that GITAM University in Vishakhapatnam does not provide Chemical Engineering UG course. The courses offered by this Institute for BTech are:
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, formerly GITAM University and GITAM College of Engineering, is an institute of higher education with campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore in India. It was established in 1980 at Visakhapatnam, it was affiliated to Andhra University. And yes, GITAM have chemical engineering UG courses.

In Vignan University , there is a chance to do Chemical Engineering in Bachelors Degree , let me give you some information about the college
Eligibility Criteria :
- It is a 4-years full time B.TECH program
- Candidates should pass all the subjects in intermediate with minimumB2
Dear Aspirant,
Chemical engineering = chemistry + mathematics
Mechanical Engineering = Mathematics + Physics
Medical = Biology + Chemistry
Decide for the subjects you think you are comfortable with, and if you are not comfortable with mathematics then the choice is very simple, go for Medical without a second thought.
