The admissions for B.Tech in Kerala Colleges other than IIT, NIT and other central institues are mostely based on Merit-list based on marks in CEE (Common Entrance Examination) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance exams, Govt. of Kerala (http://www.cee-kerala.org)
Both the mentioned colleges are good options for Chemical

If you are UPGRADED to ELECTRICAL Engineering then you cannot degrade it further to CHEMICAL ENGINEERING Again.
