see the college you have tagged in the question i.e mgms jawharlal nehru college of engineering has no courses on diploma in engineering. however the college has lateral entry admission process in b.tech second year for candidates who wish to study b.tech after passing diploma in relevant engineering discipline.

It totally depends on the remaining seats available after round 1 and round 2.. I would suggest you to follow the counselling tentatively because there are slight chances that few seats may be left vacant..

You have not mentioned the name of college where you want to pursue diploma in computer engineering.

Nevertheless, in order to be eligible to pursue diploma in computer engineering generally at least 50% is required from a recognised board. And you have got 61%. So chances are high
