when 2 moles of hcl are added to 1 litre of an acidic buffer capacity of the buffer solution is

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th May, 2020

Hi

We have,

Number of moles = 2 moles

Change in pH = 3.4 - 2.9 = 0.5

Now, buffer capacity

= number of moles/ change in pH

= 2 /0.5

= 4

Thus, 4 is the buffer capacity

Thankyou
